This update fixes offline downloads and the video player. DOWNLOADS WORK AGAIN AFTER AN APP UPDATE If you had signed out at least once before taking an update, every new download failed. The app was looking for your videos in a folder the previous version used, which iOS replaces each time it updates. Videos already on your device are found again rather than left stranded. SWITCHING LECTURES NO LONGER CRASHES THE PLAYER The lecture you were leaving could be handed back to the screen after it had already been shut down. It got more likely the more lectures you opened in one sitting. SPACE FROM REMOVED LECTURES IS RECLAIMED When a course dropped a lecture, the leftover video stayed on your device and its space was never given back. A LECTURE THAT WON'T PLAY NOW TELLS YOU WHAT TO DO When a video failed to start, the app showed you its internal error text. You now get a plain explanation that fits the lecture: check your connection for one you are streaming, or download it again for one you had already saved to your device. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Erasing all downloads or signing out while a course was still downloading no longer strands that download or leaves a stray video on your device. • A course that got stuck asking you to "Finish course download" now completes. After downloading a chapter you had already partly downloaded, it could start counting past its own total — "3 of 2 course lectures downloaded" — and the button stopped doing anything. Affected courses correct themselves the next time your course list refreshes. • The app no longer turns sideways when you hold your phone upside down. • Full-screen video works in either landscape direction, and rotation behaves normally again once you leave full screen. • Losing your connection while loading free courses now shows the offline message instead of an error suggesting the courses could not be found.

This update is entirely bug fixes, concentrated on offline downloads and sign-in. DOWNLOADS - Tapping "Finish course download" no longer crashes when a course has gained a lecture since you downloaded it. If you were holding a partial download of Agentic AI Programming for Python or Django: Getting Started, this was hitting you every time - not intermittently. - Downloads now stay in step with courses that change after you download them. A lecture added to a course is now downloadable instead of being silently missing from a course that claimed to be complete, and a lecture removed from a course no longer leaves you stuck at "N-1 of N" forever. Video left behind by a removed lecture is deleted and its space reclaimed. COURSES - Your enrolled course list no longer fails to load when course size information is briefly unavailable from the server. SIGN-IN - If your sign-in expires or is revoked, the app now signs you out and tells you why, instead of failing every refresh with a generic "please try again" that retrying could never fix. Previously the only way out was to guess to sign out manually from Account Details.
