TandemGPS, the first GPS-based speedometer app, provides real-time speed data using integrated Light-Spectrum Signaling (LSS). Designed as a safety tool for all drivers, TandemGPS offers a safe and non-intrusive alternative to traditional numeric readouts. TandemGPS sends speeds as user-defined light signals from  devices. When used in combination with Motorcyclists’ skill-based customizations, TandemGPS’ unique interface tools address a fundamental safety challenge: maintaining safe eye-contact with the road. By providing customizable navigation conditions in a user-influenced app environment, TandemGPS empowers users to tailor their riding experience to their skill level, driving environment, weather conditions, and commutes. Each ride is saved with a unique filename and can be managed through the in-app Rides Manager. TandemGPS also allows users to create location-based rides using its link interface. This digital connection establishes a speedometer-based ride with a mapped location. This feature is particularly useful for Motorcyclists who travel in groups and want to share user-created navigation options to guide their trip. By integrating TandemGPS’ LSS signaling with user-specific monitoring and alerts, the potential safety advantages of this technology are further enhanced through continued use. TandemGPS offers: • Group Management for Member-to-Member connectivity • Ride Management for saved, user-defined Tandem Speedometers and Map files • A Member-to-Member Communication Service that allows them to share saved Speedometers and Map files • A Biker-influenced Navigation Environment with three independent Map styles • A state-of-the-art signaling technology that provides dash-less speed data through any mobile device. • An App with minimal user-prompts, physical screen engagements, and reduced eye-to-screen demands . • User-defined Speedometers and Maps are saved as Rides and, such, allow custom speedometers to be digitally linked to specific geographical locations with start and stop points. • Maps include toggles to control APIs on the fly. One-touch On and one-touch Off of: • 3-D Map View • Voice Navigation • Traffic • Screen Navigation • Map Screen toggles switch saved speedometers and tracking modes with one click. • “Always On” Top Speed displays every time you stop, on all three Map screens. As a Safety-first environment, TandemGPS provides security measures that leave essential controls to the Users. Such as: • Members can only be added to Groups who have personally shared their profile email with another verified Member. • Shared Speedometers and linked-Map files can only be shared to Groups of verified Tandem Members. • Members can also view the Groups that they are Members of, but do not Manage, in their own directories. • Any Member, of any Group, can remove themselves, quietly, from any Group without cross- app permissions and engagements. • Shared files include the username and City of the Creator of the Tandem Speedometer or Map, to augment the familiarity to known Members of the Group, or Groups. Set up travel styles that meet your daily driving needs, road trips, or for your weekend sport rides. Save speedometer styles and trip data using the in-app Rides Manager.
