A simple and quick tool to lookup the tax due on any taxable amount entered into the calculator for a specific year (from March 2019 to February 2024 ). Specify the age, medical dependants and the pay frequency (weekly, monthly or annual) and tap on the calculate button to produce the resultant tax due.
This calculator can be used by anyone wanting to check their payslip or for employers that manually calculate payrolls or want to spot check a computer calculation.
Our Software Support Consultants use this tool to check the tax calculated in our various software versions and to do salary structuring or outsourcing tax checks.
The calculator adjusts for the relevant tax rebate and tax bracket and computes the correct tax bracket calculations using the tax rates applicable from March 2019 to February 2023. (Please select the tax year for the relevant tax rate)
The tax rates tables and additional information can be viewed as a pdf document accessed from the Information button on the top right of the screen. This pdf document is a "Cheat Sheet" of Payroll Legislation and is used daily by Payslip Support Staff for easy reference.
