The name "Tranche" comes from the French word for "slice" or "portion." Many investors prefer to buy stocks in portions at different price points rather than all at once. Tranche helps you stay organized with this approach by:

EXAMPLE USE CASE
You want to buy AAPL stock but prefer to spread your purchases across different price points:
- Set Entry Price at $180
- Set Tranche 1 at $170
- Set Tranche 2 at $160
When AAPL hits $180, you get notified. You buy through your broker, then mark Entry Price as "Purchased" in the app. Tranche continues monitoring the other two levels for you.
