The UPS Access Point™ application provides the technology for registered and authorized UPS Access Point™ locations to perform the following four main services of a UPS Access Point™ location;
· Driver Delivery
· Customer Pickup
· Customer Drop Off
· Inventory Management
This UPS Access Point™ application also allows UPS Access Point™ location attendants to manage their onsite package inventory. Accurate and timely scans allow customers to have accurate and up to date visibility to their package’s status.
The application is supported on iOS Mobile devices with iOS 13 or later installed.

• Scan time delay parameter changed from 1000 ms to 400 ms. This will provide better speed and good scanning experience.
• Date/Time validation logic changed from 1 hour to 4 hours.
• Fix packages scanned counter issue - when scanning begins with Smart Scan and multiple packages are scanned. first package scanned is now carried over to scan count to provide accurate scanned packages count at each step.
• Display Toast Message to indicate whether user is scanning same package. Previously we displayed message box which shows “Duplicate Tracking number not allowed”. This required user to respond which blocks user to scan next package quickly. Displaying toast message will allow user to see message on the screen for 500ms then message will disappear. This will allow user to scan next package without interruption.
• Various other miscellaneous application enhancements and logging improvements.

- EULA (End User License Agreement) updated and required to be accepted by all users to allow successful access to the UPS Access Point application.
- Improvements made to camera scanning process where red line overlay has been removed. Camera capture has been optimized and programmed to ignore other non 1Z barcodes for better scanning experience.
- Training Material link in main menu – instructions provided on how to access training guides via ap.ups.com for active UPS Access Point locations.
- SMS receipt requests in Great Britain now default to Queens English and no longer require user to select language.
- Improvements to app stability and diagnostics services.
