VASP is a management system which converts all the data from your cold-storage, freezer and other systems into real-time process information. The system runs on a dedicated server or computer, which communicates with up to 100 controllers via Ethernet. VASP gives you insight into all running processes so you can closely monitor them and intervene immediately when needed.
The controllers connected to the VASP system are operated in a logical, intuitive manner. They are displayed on a clearly organised start screen on which the core values are immediately visible. From the start screen, users can zoom in to the controller level. There, the main settings can be changed in order to fine-tune the control process. Sensor values and control process status are also easy to read.
Suddenly rising temperatures in your freezer? Unacceptable fluctuations in relative humidity? VASP alerts you immediately in case of any deviating ambient conditions. VASP has a number of alarm functions at various levels. Messages can be read in the VASP software, via email or in the VDH smartphone app. They can be distinguished into urgent and non-urgent messages. Alarms are shown in VASP in an updated alarm list in which the colour indicates the level of urgency. Instructions can be entered to inform on-site technicians of the required follow-up. Once the malfunction has been resolved, the user may assign a cause; this information can be valuable in order to prevent further malfunctions.
There is a need in a number of sectors for rigorously traceable, detailed data on ambient conditions. VASP records all data from the connected controllers. As a consequence, a comprehensive storage and process history can be provided for auditing purposes. For specialists, VASP also has a full-featured analytical tool. This allows data from several controllers to be visualised in a single graph. VASP also records the changes made per user. This could be important in order to find the cause of deviations in ambient conditions.
Several users can work simultaneously in VASP. Each user can be assigned separate privileges. This also applies to third-party maintenance technicians and other persons with different access rights. For additional user-friendliness, the language can be configured per user.
With the VDH app, the VASP system is always within easy reach. Push notifications allows the alarm messages to be displayed on a smartphone or tablet screen.
