Vatrix Forge is a utility app designed for organisers of amateur competitions, providing a structured way to manage local tournaments for board and card games. The tool offers a suite of features for creating tournament brackets, recording match results, and maintaining detailed participant statistics in an offline environment, without requiring an internet connection.
Core Features:
Flexible Tournament Setup: The app supports multiple formats, including Swiss System, Round Robin, Single Elimination, and Double Elimination. Organisers can assign a tournament name, add text notes, and specify the exact number of rounds.
Custom Scoring System: Detailed configuration of points for a win, draw, or loss is available, including support for fractional values (e.g., 1.5 or 0.5 points). For convenience, built-in presets (Standard, Football, Chess) and a customisable match timer are provided.
Match and Standings Management: The tournament dashboard displays the current status, format, and participant list. Result entry is handled through a straightforward interface using plus and minus buttons. The standings table updates immediately after each saved result, showing wins, losses, and total points.
Player Statistics Tracking: A profile is generated for each participant, recording their current rating and their win/loss/draw ratio. The profile includes a line graph of their rating history, a Rivalry Map showing head-to-head history with specific opponents, and a list of recent matches.
ELO and Glicko Rating Systems: Vatrix Forge allows users to select the rating calculation algorithm. Organisers can manually adjust the K-Factor and Initial Rating sliders. The built-in "What-If Simulator" tool lets you select two players and a hypothetical match outcome to calculate rating changes in advance.
Global Organiser Statistics: The Statistics tab aggregates overall data: total number of players and tournaments, popular formats, a rating leaderboard, a 7-day activity bar chart, and specific records (such as the longest win streak).
Rules & Templates Builder: A dedicated section for creating structured game rule sets. It allows users to build logical flowcharts using Condition, Action, and Note blocks.
Privacy and Local Data Storage Vatrix Forge is explicitly built for offline use (as stated on the initial welcome screen). All tournament brackets, participant lists, and match histories are stored locally on the organiser's device. The application does not feature mandatory cloud account registration. Creating an organiser profile (selecting a name, nickname, and icon) operates entirely within the local app environment.
