INTRODUCTION
VisualBraille Lite™ is an application for the
iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod Touch® that
promotes learning of standard Braille
code. This application lets users type
in standard text, and VisualBraille™
converts it into one of several Braille
types.
LITERARY BRAILLE
Literary Braille is Braille that is written to
express standard text or writing.
Standard text is called Grade 1
• This is also called non-contracted
Braille, and is simply Braille letters and
numbers as they would be seen in
standard English writing.
