They developed a new way of working together from contrary locations and now collaborate daily to create bold work that is often filled with simple messages executed in a thoughtful and humorous way. Craig & Karl’s installation, ZOOM, offers a chance to interact with a blown-up slice of daily life. The installation is a zoomed-in snapshot of everyday scenarios, each enhanced to an exaggerated size to challenge our perceived notions of items that are seemingly so commonplace as to have become invisible. ZOOM provides an opportunity to rethink our perspective of the world around us and to view our place within it in a new and unexpected way.
