Irresponsible Apps (considering to uninstall)

I booked an Apartment from the Apps earlier this month for 1 night stay for me and my friend.
upon arriving at the Apartment (after a long drive), the owner said there is NO booking under my name.
I told him that I booked through Agoda and he offer to check his system only to find out that the SAME ROOM with SAME DATE was also confirmed by AGODA for others person.
I was DEJECTED!. I travel all the way from Kedah to Shah Alam only to know that the room that I booked was not confirm but, agoda did send me a confirmation voucher.

I wasted my time and my money for nothing. Agoda customer service apps is useless it will only directed our inquiry to the virtual operator which is once again USELESS!
Wasted another 3 Hours to find a new place with low budget (since I spend my money to the apartment). Lastly, only get to book an average hotel far from Shah Alam city 🥲

Request for a refund on the same date, but can only get within 30 Working Days! Funny, you can take my money within second for non-existing booking but need 30 working days to refund it back to me?

There is no use if you earn AGODA VIP status they will still treat you as nothing.

Elaborated scheme to make you pay more

I’ve been traveling around quite a lot recently and I’ve noticed a pattern in Agoda app. A promo price for a room are parade at the page and if we book it and went to the hotel, the receptionist will eventually give the worst room that reflects the price we paid. We’ll end up looking like a cheapskate for paying less to expect more. The promo/deals are rewards for loyal users like me to keep booking rooms with agoda. Oh boy do they played me well? Is it my problem that I was lucky enough to get the promo/deals when I was rewarded for it? This is an ELABORATED SCHEME! There was ‘always’ a problem at the receptionist, ‘always’ full house while the app said there are still rooms available. The booking can never be canceled unless we choose the other option that eventually priced the same as the room without deals. Don’t trust this app. They only allow you to pay in advance just to trick you. I’ve went beyond my creadibility and proffesionalism to be writing review like this but that just shows how serious I am about it. DO NOT TRUST THIS APP.

I love using agoda apps as it is really easy to use. Good feature, not confusing. I am happy app user. I love using it. Compared to other apps. The experience is great with agoda apps. Recommended. Even i also experienced booking cancellation due to unexpected events happened. Still they assist me till the end of the process. Keep improving their services. I believe if we really understand the policy, all the issues occurred can be solved properly. We just need patient and get their officers do their jobs and give them time to escalate the matters. Good job team‼️ i appreciate your good works.
