Quality and efficient customer service

Saw quite a few negative reviews here, and would like to share my experience.

I scheduled a delivery for 7-8pm from a restaurant that was relatively near to my home. Saw that my delivery would be with me by 7:15pm but it then dragged on and got pushed back to 8:20pm where there was a switch in drivers and lots of confusion in between.

As expected, one would be annoyed and frustrated at that time but when contacting the live chat, the customer service representative was very professional in helping me sort out the situation which was done really quickly. Eventually I got my food at 8:20pm but they offered a pretty decent compensation which is pretty cool 😁

One advice would be for users who are waiting too long on the app, you can head over to their FB page to message them and they’ll get back to you really quickly!

For the company, maybe refining the tracking page to update when a new rider picks up or showing a more detailed info would help us users understand the delivery process further and bring up less confusion :)

The worse experience I had with a delivery app!!!

I would like to share my AWFUL experience with this app. I ordered my lunch from a restaurant which is less than 1 km away from my home. I waited for more than 30 minutes until the food was picked up, then the map showed that the rider is heading to the opposite direction and not coming to my place, I was not sure if the live tracking map was wrong or if the rider is really taking the wrong direction. However, after 10 minutes, the order was marked as delivered! I went down to pickup my order from the lobby and didn’t found it. I called the rider, at the first call he said he arrived, ten minutes later, the second call he claimed that he is still on the way, the third call he didn’t pick up my call!! I had to contact the WORSE customer service and the representative was so unprofessional, useless and lazy! He could not help me at all, didn’t know what to do, and was not even able to locate and contact his rider!! I had to chat with the customer service for more than 45 minutes before I asked them to cancel the order and to refund my money!! They failed to deliver a 1 km away order, weren’t able to communicate with their rider, were so unprofessional, lazy and useless and on top of that very honest, they gave so many stupid excuses on every time I asked for explanation for what is going on!

Poor delivery service

I first thought Beepit was good coz it has many interesting restaurants.
But my experience tells me that the extent of their service.

The first time I ordered the food came 2 hours late. The driver avatar spent about 1 hour around Mt Kiara area. I called the driver and asked if he was doing another delivery and the driver gave an embarrassed laugh and kept apologising. Food was stone cold, soggy (pies!) and horrible when it finally reached me 2 hours late.

My second experience was the rider calling me to say I must cancel because the restaurant was not halal. Wow!

I don’t know Beepit’s contract terms are like with the courier company. Either you don’t pay enough or didn’t set out the terms properly. Because if your selection of restaurants, customers are quite willing to pay slightly more for the delivery.

Compared to Grab your charges are much higher yet we willingly order. But if this poor service continues let me tell you what a few people have suggested to me. We use your App as reference for interesting restaurants and menu. You do have a very selection there. Then we will call the restaurant directly like any independent customers. We pay by bank transfer and arrange our own transport with Mr Speedy or Grab Express. In the end you’ll lose our business.

Time to go back to the drawing board.
