All out FUN!
With so many rpg/strategy game available in the app store, this game truly bring something new to the genre. From the controls to the beautiful hand drawn graphics. This game is something to behold. It's uniqueness is in its simplicity. The easy to use controls are done masterfully. But this does not mean that the game is easy. There are so many things in the game mimics some high productions game in the market. From the rpg like skill tree and rewarding drops. It really does feel something from the big game developers out there. I have to say Kudos to the people who have made this game and will gladly wait for other titles from them in the future.
SRW freak
Great game with just the nice blend of presentation, character growth and intuitive controls. Only obvious drawback is when characters overlap on the screen making micromanagement a little frustrating in a pinch. Still it can be easily remedied with avatars at one corner corresponding to each team member. Overall fantastic job guys, keep up the good work!
BattleHeart clone with horrible IAP Paywall
Basically its battleheart with thugs and gangs and skill purchase leveling system instead of EXP leveling system. With one major caveat. It's freemium with a horrendous IAP paywall.
The difficulty spike hits practically a wall at the first boss requiring you to grind to be able to beat. Then most of the second stage requires more grinding or money. They key is actually money - as in real money via IAP. Which is crap. Another game with IAP done wrong.
If the devs are reading:-
1) get rid of the IAP Bull and just charge a reasonable amount instead. Fix the game so its playable without asking people for money because of artificial difficulty
2) if you want to do IAP make it so its optional- and no forcing people to grind leveling for 6 hours to just get enough money to recruit a 4th character is not optional.
3) Hire people with good / decent English to proof read the stuff you have in the text.
For normal sane people who want to play it ? - play it until the first boss then quit. Everything goes down hill from there.
