Carousell: Snap-Sell, Chat-Buy 4+

Carousell is basically like any of your online selling platforms that makes it unique on its own. However, there lies some complications with the review/feedback system for sellers. Leaving a feedback should be prompted and not be linked to the chat. The review system also lacks users to edit their comments or star rating in case of mistakes. Sellers should not be punished for such irreversible issues as this cases may affect the livelihood of some sellers. Moreover, the function of allowing follow-up replies is not present on the seller side such that buyers are unable to reply to their own review on the seller’s page in the case of accidental reviews. To further emphasise this flawed system is that a UI should be made clear and easy to understand at first glance for users. They should not have to google ways on how to leave feedback or whether it is possible to reply reviews. Also, the reply button on the review is rather small and not new user friendly as users would not think of that button as a button but instead an icon label.

Yesterday was my first time uploading my preloved dresses. I feel amaze on how easy to post my items on this platform and sell. Take photo 3s posted it in 5 second literally in a minutes. Here you are - You are ready to sell your items in the market place. As a new bie I am totally impressed :) I just would like to clear my closet. Bought too many dresses but hardly wear it and decided to sell it cheap through this platform.

The experience of dealing with buyers - in a day I received 4 requests from buyers that enquiry about my dresses. I am very happy and excited unfortunately out of 4 buyers, 3 seems to be not a genuine buyer and one seems genuine.
The three buyers will likes my page, later on provide me their WhatsApp’s number and ask me to contact them as they are interested with my dresses. Turn out one purchase rm 27 but claim to transfer me rm 500 because the buyer is overseas and the min transfer is rm 500. The buyer suggest me to refund rm 473 so I can get back the total rm 500. I already know this could be a scammer or a non genuine buyer who take advantage on first time or new Carousal reseller.
Just be watch up!

Overall I am excited on how easy to get my items out there fast. And hoping for a safe market place that people can trade, buy and sell without worry to get scammed.

Within one month, i managed to sell 5 items. Thank you carousel, in other words, helping me in generating some income during this pandemic period.

However, Carousel should also allow seller or buyer to delete some bad review...but let the total average review. I have encountered with one buyer who were not happy when she received an item with some small spot discoloured on the blouse. However in the picture it was already there, and buyer was not detail enough.
I had given 30% discount upon buyer request, however when she got the blouse, she said she felt i was not sincere in selling the blouse since i did not highlighted to her about the small spot. In view to that she asked me to refund another 8% to her, which i did. After refunding her, she still gave me bad review-so what is the point of refunding her if she still not happy and giving a bad review?
And i also discovered that she actually using other person picture in her account profile. She was using a muslim lady picture with hijab while she is not a muslim (i knew about this, when i was refunding her the money to her bank account).
So who is not sincere now?
Carousel should allow seller to delete bad review but maintaining the total average ⭐️⭐️⭐️
