Even if you are not confident with taking on strategic battles, you have nothing to worry about! If you use the Auto-Battle feature, your Heroes will fight for you automatically.

Rather than a focus on level-grinding, the game offers a wide variety of methods to power your Heroes up, like switching skills in and out or using Engage to expand their abilities.

Recently they introduced sparking banner feh pass subscribers and it will benefit whales better. I dont mind this as they also want profits. Hopefully they will keep releasing pve content as normal and dont lock contents under the pass.

FEH has introduced multiple P2W mechanics over its lifetime. Competitive modes such as Aether Raids require Mythic Heroes from the gacha for points. Arena modes require specific skills that arbitrarily boost points so that you’ll be higher ranked. Everything is down to luck and not related to your investment as a player. PvP-focused modes where toxic enemy team setups wipe you out in one turn, unless you know exactly how to manipulate AI and only use specific characters. Powercreep is unbalanced, causing new units to heavily outperform old units. Your favorite Lord from Fire Emblem Fates? Can’t even beat a villager if that villager were released today. This is not a game for fans of the Fire Emblem series, unless you like seeing your fav characters die over and over because of the devs’ lack of care for balance. The game has a bloated 5* summoning pool to boot and even has a precedent of holding up to eight banners in a row without any adjustments to orb income. Adding insult to injury, many 5* characters require 11 copies to reach their full potential (this is no joke). All options and resources to make your character slightly stronger are gated behind time, PvP, and most importantly, money. You’d better be paying for FEH Pass monthly if you don’t want to login everyday just to watch your fav characters die in PvP over and over. The only way to stay relevant is to roll for shiny new characters that you don’t necessarily care about. I would not recommend this game if you’re even remotely interested in investing in it. More importantly, if you’re a Fire Emblem fan who likes specific characters, stay far away from this game, unless you’re rich and fine with giving money to greedy devs to power up that character. The game is getting more anti-consumer by the day. If you’re looking for a good mobile game to play seriously, look somewhere else.
