ive been switching to and from soooo manyyyyy different note taking apps with the main focus of needing to open lecture pdf notes and for creating my own notes. ive been using goodnotes for an extended period of time but it got VERY clunky as it gets updates up to a point where i dont even want to use it anymore. ive tried other apps too but some still feel clunky while others are pricey. this app though, for a ONE TIME PAYMENT u basically get goodnotes premium. no lag no issues, everything you need is here such a comfortable yet professional way. now the only thing i hope for is that it doesn’t get worse as it gets updates. like PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEE keep its quality. dont regress to something worse PLEASE. i love it so much rn thank you noteful. i dont usually write reviews btw but ts is just so good.

For the longest time, I've have finally found a note taking app which handwriting experience is on par with Apple's native apps like Notes & Freeform. It's so smooth and perfect. Aside from that, this app has a very simple UI, laser pointer, recording features, abundance cover page to choose from (even for the free version), and the organization system (LOVE THAT THERES A SIDEBAR TO NAVIGATE FOLDERS, TAGS ETC) very convenient. Plus, you can also import your own cover and paper designs! I have never been so happy and satisfied about an app before, so much so that I just had to buy the pro version for my own satisfaction and to thank the developers to develop this incredible app!
Update Request on Feature: Tables, Improved Shapes, and Built-in AI Tools

I hope there will be an update that allows us to use pre-designed tables, similar to those in Microsoft Word, where we can easily insert and adjust rows and columns. I would also appreciate improvements to the shapes feature, including circles, triangles, stars, and squares. Drawing shapes by hand can be confusing, and the app often misinterprets them. Additionally, it would be great to have easier access to AI features such as ChatGPT and a built-in calculator, like those available in other digital notebook apps.

I’ve been trying out a lot of Note taking apps especially since I’d need it for studying, and so far Noteful has been the best by far from having all the features I need without much issues or bugs. All while coming up to a decent and reasonable price compared to some apps that are way too overpriced or have gone too far with too many unnecessary features for a note taking app.Only issue so far I’ve experienced consistently is the palm rejection not working every now and then, i.e. when I take my hand off the screen and then put it back down to write, the screen will jitter thinking I’m using my finger and do things like undo, move the screen, or zoom in/out.
- New: Lock images to prevent accidental movement.
- New: Options to change folder sorting in the document library.
- Changed: Reverted to the system font picker to improve reliability with custom fonts (e.g., missing fonts or incorrect names). While this may feel like a step back in usability, it ensures the most consistent behavior given iOS system constraints.
- Fixed an issue where image flipping did not work properly on images without a mask.
- Fixed an issue from the previous version where text boxes could be clipped while typing with some IMEs (e.g., Japanese and Chinese).
- Fixed an issue where the Hand Tool’s fullscreen mode had an incorrect layout when the main toolbar was positioned on the right.
- Added 0.38 mm pen size.
- Minor localization and UI tweaks.
