I enjoy seeing my kingdom expand but the toxic players in the game made the experience unpleasant. I spent quite a bit of real money on it too. I was on Server 68. The final straw was when some guys threatened me for speaking up in the world chat, he said this : “If you chat in world again I’ll make sure you won’t be able to farm anymore.” I don’t know how people can enjoy a game where people are mean to each other and backstab a lot too. The developers should really look into improving the bullying part of the game. I have since deleted the game. And it’s the best feeling in the world not having to worry about people attacking a farming territory and making up stories about you when you complain about the bullying. Also, some players make dirty jokes and use crude language when the game is targeted at gamers aged 9+

This game is so disappointing..you need to pay to get most of the item in the game. There is event box for event and you need to pay real money to get them..this is ridiculous..one of the most disappointing event I have experienced is the hellowen event..you need to pay for the chocolates..how could you game developers kill our joy to get the game effect..that thing pay this pay everything is pay..if this thing still have no change..maybe I have to quit the game..and I see more people have realised this game pay to win agenda..and they will also quit the game..make it more balanced tho..no more pay to get something..you could just make and event to increase online player..but to make we pay..so disgusting..

If you’re here because of the original Age of Empires game back in the old days, this is DEFINITELY not for you. I would suggest you to read all the reviews and make sure you are 100% willing to spend in order to have a semblance of fun in the game.The game is free to play but not free to win. You will have to spend A LOT in order to have a winning chance at anything. The spendings are by no means small. On top of that, even as a spender, most of our suggestions are not taken into account. We are exhausted, SO many players are leaving and quitting the game. Enjoy the dead silence in most of your servers soon. On top of this, so much racism, harassment and toxicity by players are not monitored and taken action even after mass report. Every war depletes your troop and they take an absolutely long time to train but if you’re a massive spender then you win.Alliance glory: you spend and buy speedups, you win.Hero medals are a pain to get unless you spend.Need to say more? No. I’m almost burnt out and ready to quit.
