Personally, it’s a nice remaster of the original game, but the designs and graphics are a bit overstimulating. The obstacles seem smaller compared to the characters, and there’s just too much happening in the background while you’re running. It feels visually crowded.Another important issue is the feedback when you bump into an obstacle. In the original Subway Surfers, there was that clear shaky or vibration effect that immediately lets you know you messed up. Here, it’s not as noticeable. The character gets dizzy with stars around their head, but because the graphics are so saturated and busy, it’s hard to even see that happening. Sometimes I don’t realise I've hit something until a second later.Overall, it makes it harder to focus on the actual gameplay. The visual intensity kind of works against the fast reaction style the game is supposed to have.
Hello chrizchian! It’s great to hear that you appreciate the remaster of the original game! Your thoughts on the visuals and feedback are truly valuable. We recognize that the graphics can feel a bit overwhelming, and it’s important for players to have a clear sense of their surroundings. The feedback when colliding with obstacles is essential for gameplay, and we understand how the current effects may not be as noticeable as they should be. Your insights are important, and we’ve escalated these points internally for review.
