My condition makes it hard to track symptoms as it differs day to day and cycle by cycle. Clue makes it so easy to track all this. Even their predictions are mostly accurate. I really appreciate the widget feature which i can track even easier. Now all i need to do is flash this baby whenever i meet my gynae. Thanks for making my life easier. ❤️

New revamp rendered the app pretty useless

I used to love this app for the ease of period tracking, upcoming period notification, ease of tracking symptoms, and most importantly for me, birth control pill tracking and reminders to take everyday. It used to be this great app that can do so many things in an easy and simple manner. The revamp instead ruined all that’s great about them and now I can only use it to track period and symptoms and it’s not even as easy as it used to anymore. They promised that the pill feature will return but it’s been 6-7 months and nothing has happened and it only seemed to have gotten worse.I can’t export my data now, which by the way all our data is being sold. Even upcoming cycle predictions is locked behind a subscription. That’s something many free apps offer! I’ve tried to be understanding of Clue’s change and push for subscription, but if you can’t even stay useful what is the point?

Hey, we're so sorry that the reminders still aren't back. We can only assure you that we're working on them and they'll be back in one of the next updates. Also, we can reassure you that Clue doesn’t sell any data to third parties under any circumstances. Keeping your data safe is at the core of everything we do. You can read more about our approach here: https://support.helloclue.com/hc/en-us/categories/360004028012-Data-Privacy-Terms-of-Service . Regarding the cycle predictions: the free version of the Clue app includes 3 upcoming cycle predictions. With Clue Plus, you’ll get 6 upcoming cycle predictions as an extra feature. All the best, Ilaria from Clue
Update on Birth Control Tracking
reyy2345
the latest update was not as swift as the old version and defeats the purpose of BC pill tracking :( usually i can track my BC pills by just tapping the taken button and swipe from date to date without any extra tapping such as customization, then saving the trackings one by one by date which takes so much effort and make things slow. also the old update automatically indicates like a small dot for 21 days of BC pill which is the sole purpose i use the app but the latest version just eliminates that feature and it makes it harder for me to keep track and be aware of when are the days that i should be taking the pill after the 7 day break. please add the 21 day pill indicator back and make it easy for tracking again :(
Developer Response
Hey, thanks for reaching out. We're currently rebuilding the app and very sorry to interrupt your tracking experience. Don't worry, the pill feature will be back soon. Hope this helps, Ilaria from Clue.
Gets worse with each update

Started using this app in 2017, after going through many other period tracker apps. It used to be easy to use, with offline tracking available and I was able to see analyses of my past cycles for free. Over the last few years, the user interface has been worsening, with more free features being changed to paid only. I can’t even view my analytics anymore without being forced to pay, it’s absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even track my periods offline and the calendar is a hassle to go through. Absolutely disappointed and will sadly be switching to a more user friendly app. If you’re an Apple user, stick to using your Health app- Clue’s paid features are all available for free. :)

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry we've upset you, that was not our intention. Our business model is based on creating valuable features that our user community pays for. We have opted for this to be our only source of income, since it goes against our values to show you ads or sell your sensitive data (which is how other similar businesses operate). You can read more about our business model here: https://helloclue.com/articles/about-clue/how-clue-makes-money. The core feature of the Clue app is period tracking, and this will always be free.
