I booked a ride home under a ride category that explicitly stated the price was inclusive of toll charges (“no need to pay extra”). The stated fare for the ride was RM26.However, upon reaching my destination, I was informed that the total fare was RM29. After checking the receipt, I noticed a RM6 toll charge with a RM3 discount applied, resulting in the final total of RM29.I felt misled by this pricing structure. If the fare was advertised as inclusive of tolls, there should not have been a separate toll charge reflected in the receipt. Additionally, the receipt indicates that I was charged for two tolls, when the route taken only passed through one toll.I have already escalated this issue to customer service, but the responses I received were automated and did not address my concerns. I know the amount is small but the lack of transparency and apparent inconsistency in the charges is what concerns me most.
