Receipts, simpler • Scan or upload a receipt at the top of a Business Book or Rental record. Fiskal fills in what it reads, and you check it and save. • Rent received can now keep its proof of payment. • Deleted Business Book records, with their receipts, are kept under Settings → Deleted records, and can be put back. • Free plan: 10 receipts for your reliefs, and 5 each for Business Book and Rental. For landlords • Your monthly maintenance fee and sinking fund now count toward your rental income for tax. • A payment can say which months it covers.

Version 1.5.0 adds Business Book and Rental (both free to try with 5 records, Pro for more), a rebuilt Home, and the CP500 tools. No change to subscriptions or purchases. The Privacy Notice at fiskal.my/privacy was updated today to cover the new features, and the app tells existing users once.

A new look, and the receipt screen does more of the work. • Your tax now opens on a single card carrying the figure that matters, with the three numbers behind it underneath. • Scan a receipt and the shop, date and amount are filled in for you. Check them before saving — we mark the ones we read from the photo. • You can now back out of the camera without saving anything. • "Filing guide" is now called MyTax Filing. It prepares every box of your return; you file it on MyTax yourself — Fiskal never files for you. • Reminders are easier to turn on, and now arrive properly even while Fiskal is open. • Plenty of smaller fixes: clearer labels, better spacing, and Malay wording corrected throughout.

YA 2026's own tax rules are here. Until now, Fiskal worked out your 2026 position using 2025's published rules, and said so. Malaysia's YA 2026 rules are law — gazetted as the Finance Act 2025 — so Fiskal now uses them, with each figure carrying the clause it comes from. · New: up to RM1,000 for entrance fees to a tourist attraction or a cultural programme. This one is for YA 2026 only — keep those tickets. · Relief for a child's learning-disability care rises to RM10,000. · Childcare now covers a registered care centre for a child up to 12, so after-school care can be claimed. · A food-waste grinder and home CCTV join the RM2,500 green-household relief. · Life insurance relief can now cover a policy on your child's life. · Vaccination relief is now limited to vaccines registered with the NPRA — worth checking before you claim. Your YA 2025 figures are untouched. Also fixed · Cloud backup just happens. On Standard or Pro, your receipts back up on their own — there's no switch to find any more. If some are still going up, the Receipts tab now says so instead of leaving you guessing. · You can edit a saved income entry. Correcting a typo no longer means deleting it and typing the whole thing again. · Retake on a receipt photo returns to the camera, instead of dropping you back at the receipts list. · Every relief category in your vault now shows its limit the same way, so you can see what's left to claim at a glance.

Receipt scanning, upgraded. Fiskal now reads a receipt as the two-dimensional thing it is, rather than a list of lines — so a total printed at the far edge of a wide restaurant bill is finally read as a total, not as the subtotal above it. · Discounts and rebates count properly, so a claim is what you PAID · Fiskal checks a receipt's own figures add up, and tells you when they do · When a photo can't be read, it says so instead of showing nothing It can now suggest which relief a receipt belongs to — and say why. It tells you how much of that relief's yearly limit is left, and a shopping trip holding two different kinds of thing can be claimed as two. Fiskal never guesses at health or religious spending. A pharmacy or clinic receipt is left for you to categorise yourself, as before. Everything is still read on your phone. The photo never leaves it.

RECEIPT SCANNING IS MUCH MORE ACCURATE A real receipt came back wrong three ways, and the causes were in our rules rather than the camera. Now fixed: • The shop name is read correctly. Many Malaysian receipts print the e-Invoice QR box above the shop name, and we were reading that instead. • The total is no longer taken from a "Total Savings" or "Discount" line. • Impossible dates are refused. A misread year could have filed a 2026 receipt into the wrong Year of Assessment. • Shops whose names start with a number — 99 Speedmart, 7-Eleven — are no longer skipped. You can also tap to see exactly what the reader saw on your photo, so a wrong suggestion can be understood instead of guessed at. RENTAL INCOME IS NOW PART OF PRO Pro adds the HK-4 working with every expense LHDN allows, your property register, and rental counted in your tax figure. If you were already using rental, you keep it free — permanently. Nothing has been removed from your account. FIXES • Removing a photo from a scanned receipt no longer leaves a blank screen. • Tapping "First home" now explains the relief instead of jumping to another tab. • The explanation cards you open with the ⓘ button now scroll, so long explanations can be read to the end. • Pop-up cards open smoothly — the background now dims all at once instead of sweeping up the screen. • Business books, the filing guide and rental now all explain what the plan includes before asking you to subscribe. • A sharper startup screen. • Business books is called the same thing everywhere in the app.
