This game has been so far on of my favourite mobile game till today but to be honest there are too much wasting time on watching advertising which is 30 seconds each and it’s too long and boring for any audiences. I wish the developer of this game at least would make the advertising part 5 to 10 seconds instead of 30 seconds. Another thing I realised from this game is , if you purchase legendary pass you can finish the game so much faster and unlock the cars easier which is really unfair.

I played this game since launch, and at first I am totally immersed in it because of its great visuals, great graphics, etc. and progression.The first major downhill began when the Chiron special event came out. From needing rare cars from loot boxes and whatnot, this marks the first time that GL had been anti consumer to us. And there was slipstream, one of the most hated MP mode in Multiplayer.Then in July 2019, came one of the biggest paywalls that requires players to fork a huge amount of S coins to unlock and upgrade rare cars. At the same time, the amount of rewards we got from weekly events, elite classes etc. are being reduced.December 2019 was the last time that A9 did good for us. Although the DS2 requires a lot of time to grind, as long as you persevere, you can make it through.Then came the spiral that kept going downhill. The introduction of Grand Prix with no regulated rank means people who splurged large amount of tokens will automatically win the key. The Legend Pass just added salt into the wound.With the extinction of rush Multiplayer and replacement of series score in July 2020, I can say the game is half dead to me. I had no reason to spend a lot of time on the Multiplayer season. And here we are today. The Divo. The final straw. Which requires people to PAY to start the event.This left me no choice but to write a review. If you are new player looking for a racing game, keep in mind this game is never kind to you. Whales are the reason that this game is at the state that we are facing now.
Still a great game, but seems to have P2W problems

I have played asphalt 7 and 8 and both of which I had massive amounts of fun with, but in asphalt 9 it seems that people who pay to get in-game currencies to buy better cars and blueprints dominate the most, what I’d advise is being like Counter Strike: Global offensive or Fortnite, where buying doesn’t give you a competitive edge, but just for personal satisfaction (Skins, Cosmetics, etc.) I’m writing this as I’ve been matched up numerous times with opponents that are REALLY op (rank 1200 when I’m rank 800) and the opponents are only in Bronze or Unranked despite their rank. I hope this review gets to the asphalt team and I do hope they could lower or remove the Pay 2 Win situation in its next game (if they do make a next game)

I have been playing this game for more than a year and I totally enjoy this game very much. It is not boring when you still have to improve each car components. It will have good performance if all the components are in maximum level. In Multiplayer, I have been knocked down more than once in single game but then I report the player. In Career, I still not finish the goal because not all the requirement car is unlocked. Special event drives me to get more token sometimes and Daily Events make me gain more Credits.
