Very visually appealing

But I cannot change collection colors or names on iPhone SE because everything is too large, and tapping “return” on the input keyboard also doesn’t do anything when renaming. I also think that a random word button would be a great feature since it’s how some people learn new words.
Developer Response
Hi! Thanks a lot for the feedback! The latest update of the app should fix the bug.
Search Is Too Slow

I’ve tried many dictionary apps but still couldn’t find the perfect fit for me. The closest I got was Word Vault. It’s an excellent app but there has been no updates for a long time so I’ve always been on the hunt for an alternative. I heard about LookUp long ago but have held off buying it because it requires an internet connection. I finally bit the bullet on iOS 14’s release because this app is a shining example of a great app that supports the latest OS features. Alas, I was disappointed when I used the search. This is arguably the most important aspect of a dictionary app. It’s something I shouldn’t even have to think about. The delay between entering a word in the search field and waiting for the list of closely-matched words to show up in a list is too noticeable. It needs to be more responsive. My critiques about other dictionary apps have never been about search or performance but rather the subjective design decisions so I was utterly surprised and frustrated. I hope the developer addresses this flaw soon. It’s way too obvious to be ignored. I will update my review and rating when this is fixed. Otherwise, this app looks good and I love that you can organise your words into different collections. If you don’t mind the 2-second wait every time you try to look up a word, this might just be the perfect dictionary app for you.
