App connection
STAung
Before the update the app can directly connect to garmin connect and the data is also accurate. Now it is connecting via apple health, no option to directly connect to garmin connect as before. Data is also inconsistent, garmin app shows more steps buy apple health and step up shows less.
Developer Response
It actually works better via Apple Health since it combines steps from both your phone and Garmin device. If we just read directly from Garmin, we're not able to combine the steps from your phone and Garmin.Sync steps from Garmin via Garmin App > Settings > Connected Apps > Apple Health.Apple Health uses a priority system when reading data from multiple sources. Move Garmin to the top priority in Apple Health > Steps > (scroll down) Data Sources & Access > (scroll down) Data Sources > Edit (top right). If you're still facing issues, please send us feedback logs from StepUp > Settings > Help & Feedback > Send Feedback to help us identify and fix the issue?
Month tab still showing previous month, not current
Syera Saidi
Hello. We are already in Nov 2025. Why the month tab still showing Oct 2025? Can please help because I run the group challenge for month of Nov and now it is not working to see the cumulative steps. Also, any way to export the steps data?
Developer Response
The monthly leaderboard in the app resets to the new month on the 3rd of each month, so you have 2 days after the end of each month to see each month's leaderboard in the app. Group admins can export reports for any date range from Settings > Manage Groups > Export Group Report.Reports include total steps and distance covered by the entire group, daily avg steps per member for the group and detailed step leaderboards.Admins can swipe (iOS) or long press (Android) on any group member to make them an admin.
Efficient.
