Sephora Sunway Pyramid
This was my 1st time, all alone going to Sephora to get make up items for myself. Since I’m a beginning and have no idea about products and how to select it according to my skin tone, I was hoping for someone to assist me. One of the promoter was kind enough to guide me and help me to select products according to my skin tone. I got all the essentials in a place which was way convenient. Now I’m using all the products and learning to put on makeup. Will definitely make more purchases in future. Very happy with your service.
Terrible Apps & Service Team
So I try Sephora for the first time to purchase my fragrances and it turned out to be a terrible experience... They first send the item out late, so I emailed and ask them and they told me the item I had bought was not available. YET, it's still available in the apps after 10 days. They don't even bother to update the quantity to avoid this thing happen again. The funniest part is they send all the free gift to me without the actual item I bought (funny right?).
So I continued the conversation with their so called "customer service representatives?" and first someone called Mikee told me TWICE that I can get back a voucher worth RM 399 and then that person pass my case to another person called Julius C that mentioned again that I can get back a voucher worth RM 399 then I agreed with it. Later when they issue me the voucher, it turned out to be RM 339 instead. I asked why and they told me they mistyped it, I felt cheated by their trick. I again requested to get my refund instead. They pass me to another supervisor (yes, again) called Gem that offer me some points as compensation. I rejected the 'generous' offer and just asked for the money back as I WILL NEVER BUY FROM SEPHORA ANYMORE.
Poor and unprofessional service. Where is the zero star option?
Not a good app
A few problems that made the browsing experience bad.
1. The product reviews seem to be in an infinite loop when there are more than 10 reviews. I kept seeing the same reviews over and over as I scroll through them.
2. The app seem unstable. It sometimes direct me to the homepage unexpectedly when I was still looking at an item.
3. The cart is not smart enough to exclude the out of stock items from subtotal when an item is out of stock AFTER it was added to the cart.
4. Tried to write a review and it forced me to write at least 150 characters. I’m more used to being limited to writing not more than 500 characters which encourage users to prioritise on writing what they think is important as opposed to being encouraged to write a minimum when sometimes I just want to say something like “the moisturiser improved my skin condition. I really liked it!” —> 62 characters, can’t submit the review. So stupid.
