Ratings and Reviews
Not very impressed
It would be great if the terms and conditions are listed up front upon restaurant selection rather than having to click into the terms and condition, then to scroll down and to further click into the exclusion list just to find it if the day of visit is eligible for discounts or not. Its not an exciting experience having to wait for an hour just to be told that the offer is not applicable on the day of visit.
Ping mechanism doesn’t work
Pinged some offers to my friends who have not used Entertainer. No clear instructions on what they should expect to see and how to accept or reject the offer, and no clear information to the original Entertainer user who pinged the offer on how the mechanism really works (e.g. auto reversal of ping if offer was rejected, 10 day waiting period if no acceptance or rejection).
Was informed by live chat that my friends should see a pop up option to accept or reject the offer when they log in to the app. But my friends did not see this pop up, so they could not accept or reject the offer. Me, as a user who paid for this app, on the other hand, is unable to use the pinged offers that could not be rejected, during the 10 day period. And there is no option for me to cancel the ping offer. I’ve now lost the opportunity to use those offers as I am unlikely to visit that outlet again after today.
I thought of doing Entertainer a favour by promoting them via pinging offers to friends, but instead i’m being punished due to Entertainer’s bug. And i’m embarrassed to have been telling my friends how good the app is but after they go through the hassle of downloading and registering with the app, they got nothing.
Staff should be more welcoming
The app is great, but staff at the establishments have consistently been treating me differently as soon as I show them the app. It happens at almost every restaurant, owners of the establishments should address this with the staff.
