Great IP cam and app

Best IP cam, planning to buy 2 more. Like the longer password capability compared to my old Aztech WIPC9HD , and the features available on the app. TPlink can easily make a little robot IPcam that can move around the house via the app with a rechargeable battery that last a day so that users can monitor their house when the are out. Pls keep improving your IP cameras and keep it affordable. Thanks TPlink.

Playback recording not working properly

The apps working fine, good connection and easy to navigate. All is good except when i want to record playback, the video recorded in memory always delayed at least 20 seconds or more. For example i started record playback on 10:00:00 to 10:00:30, the video recorded in memory will be 10:00:20-10:00:50. Sometimes i can even see the recording time only start count after few seconds, or it just simply fast forward jumped to 10 seconds whenever i clicked on record button. This made extracting playback really frustrating to me. Fyi this happen on both iphone ios 15.3 and ipados 15.5. Please help to check what is the issue.

Happy overall

I had issues with one socket outlet but realized that it was a weak Wi-Fi signal. But a camera in the same area was working normally. So is there a Wi-Fi signal strength difference between camera and socket or Bluetooth. Maybe it’s just my ISP Wi-Fi. Also notification alarms go silent, again is it Tapo or IOS ? Overall I’m happy. We even got an intruder prosecuted with video evidence. Now, unfortunately the app has gone into reverse with my plug adapters. Now shows power off when it’s on in the app!
