Ride safely
Safety is our top priority. You’ll see who’s coming to pick you up and in which car right in the app. You’ll see info about the driver, such as their name and rating, and will be able to share your route with whomever you like so they know where you are.
Smart destinations
Yango will suggest destinations for your rides based on your ride history, like first offering ‘home’ as a destination because it’s your most common request on weekday evenings. Ride the smart way!
Multiple destinations, one route
Yango makes everyday life super easy. Like picking the kids up from school, dropping a friend off at a market, and doing some quick shopping on the way. Just add a new stop in the app, and Yango will recalculate a new route for the driver.
Request rides for close ones
Show you care by requesting rides for friends and relatives. Get your mother to a doctor’s appointment, book a ride to pick up your special someone, or get each of your friends a ride home after a night out. You can request up to 3 cars at once.

Meet Delivery - it's like a taxi service, but for your packages
We've also built in a fast delivery service into Yango - use Delivery to quickly send personal packages or even business orders by courier anywhere in the city. Delivery is suitable for any item that can be transported by scooter or car.

I love the convince. Well some are just plain rude and like tell me to cancel once they arrive at pick up point, which is usually an inconvenience when I am in a rush having to request another pick up line and wait again, secondly the drivers that ask you to go wait outside like what’s the point if I am paying for waiting time, lastly please allow me to pick our drivers because dealing with rude drivers is not nice let us pick familar drivers.

Inconvenience of having to wait
Yango passenger
It is very inconvenient to request a ride and then have to wait a long time because the driver is still busy completing another trip. Would it be possible to introduce an option where users can request rides based on urgency, or at least choose whether they are okay with being matched to a driver who is still completing another ride?Additionally, why is there a card payment option available if drivers often arrive and then ask passengers to cancel because they do not accept card payments? After already waiting so long for the driver to arrive, the user then has to request another ride and risk being late. This has become extremely frustrating and makes the app inconvenient for users.Another issue is that some drivers take very long to start the ride after pickup, seemingly to increase waiting time. This negatively affects the overall user experience and should also be addressed.

Driver Instructions

Generally good app. Prices are fair most of the time. If there is one thing I’d improve, it’s making ride details and instructions more apparent to the drivers. Tired of writing instructions and notes for the drivers like having change for a certain amount if money then running late because they don’t have it and have to make stops somewhere else. Or being called when they are about to reach me, just to ask me to cancel because the destination I set is far or out of their way. I guess that is more driver etiquette but hopefully the point comes across. It’s really frustrating.

I presume the drivers can also see how much is offered. I don’t understand why the drivers would accept a certain fare only to ask you to cancel it. We don’t experience this inconvenience with other apps.
