miniAssistant is a tiny multilingual assistant powered by LLM.

By default, the app opens the conversation by listing today's remaining calendar events — or tomorrow's, if none are left.
This behavior can be customized in your language on the settings panel.
You can instruct the LLM in natural language, for example: "Search the next US holiday and add it to my calendar".
The app automatically replies in your device's default language.

* The current time on your device is sent as the initial user prompt, and your device's language setting is sent as the system prompt.

[Safety Measures]
* You are asked to confirm after every five consecutive function calls.
* In Safe Mode, adding or editing a calendar event requires your confirmation through the standard iOS interface.
* Deleting a calendar event always requires your confirmation, whether or not Safe Mode is enabled.
* Location access is managed by the standard iOS permission system, and only approximate location data is used.
[Apple Intelligence Limitations]
* Requires an Apple Intelligence–compatible device running iOS 26 or later.
* Limited context window: enabling many tools can exceed it, causing the model to skip tool calls and hallucinate. Disable tools you don't need.
* Safe Mode is always on for calendar operations.
* Tool calling stops with an error after 20 consecutive calls.

Added support for Apple Watch. To support Apple Watch, miniAssistant can now run in the background. As a result, it can no longer be used in multiple windows on Mac and iPad.
RAG knowledge base now supports MS Word documents, RTF documents and non-UTF-8 text files (such as Shift-JIS). Algorithm for importing PDF documents is improved; therefore, re-importing documents is recommended. Old data is indicated on the management panel.
