Learn about the fascinating history of Scotland's Union Canal.
This app contains a collection of the Union Canal's heritage and stories gathered during the Union Canal Unlocked project. Our aim is to encourage local people and visitors alike to explore and get to know the canal's history and points of interest.
The app contains an interactive map that allows users to find points of interest along the historic waterway. Historical information, photos, sound clips and animations are all included.

An issue with the title bar layout on iOS 11+ has been fixed. The most recent versions of iOS (up to 15) are now supported.
