I’ve been a user of this app for 14-15 years, albeit sparingly, but over the past year I have been an ardent user, I stopped watching the news and other popular media. I only read inclusive and well researched articles, which gives you all background information surrounding any event, and ‘x’ has been a great source of such information. I don’t really care for followers, but it is vexing to keep gaining and losing followers like flies on a daily basis, this is something that should be rectified. The timeline should also not be epileptic, it should always start where you stopped the last time. Other than these few complaints this is nothing but a top rate app, another world in your palms.
The need to fix Bot problem before more users lose their accounts
Lately, a lot of people on X have been dealing with two frustrating issues, losing followers for no clear reason and being bombarded by bot accounts. These bots flood DMs with spam, reply to tweets in weird ways, and sometimes tag users in random or misleading posts. The worst part? This kind of unwanted engagement can trigger X’s automated system, flagging innocent accounts for violations they didn’t commit. People are waking up to find their accounts restricted or, even worse, permanently suspended, all because bots interacted with them. It’s completely out of their control, yet X’s system treats them as if they were at fault. Instead of cracking down on the real problem, the platform seems to be punishing regular users. This issue needs immediate attention. X should focus on improving its bot detection instead of unfairly suspending people who’ve done nothing wrong. If they don’t address this soon, more users will keep losing access to their accounts over something they had no hand in.
Twitter DMs keeps closing Anytime I Swipe up.
I use an IPhone 7 and anytime I’m chatting on Twitter, I may want to swipe up, Perhaps to increase brightness, or do other things with my control center, the DMs close by themselves. The DM of whoever I was chatting with closes and it goes back to the DM area.
Also, sometimes, when I’m chatting with someone in the DM, if I leave the DM area to increase brightness or If I close my phone, it closes by itself. It’s not supposed to close every time I leave the App. I’m supposed to be able to leave my DM opened, go to another app and when I come back, it’s supposed to still be open.
Please help me fix this. I hope I’m able to explain my issues well.
