The story begins when the world’s largest virtual concert suddenly disappears. With millions logged on for the event, fates cross paths in unexpected ways. Slowly, they decipher the truth.

The Cytus II universe has a pantheon of creative characters. From PAFF and NEKO in the original to Ivy in 2.0 version, each distinct character with their own memorable backstory and moving music to drive the narrative. With the release of Cytus II 3.0, the newest character – Vanessa – leads players through the final chapter.

Vanessa, an OPCI machine, has gained consciousness and built a lasting bond with Ivy, another sentient OPCI. But when their mainframe is powered down, Vanessa and Ivy are separated. Hundreds of years pass, and when humans regain control over the world, Vanessa is built into the centre of the cyTus network.

Vanessa’s music is grandly symphonic with other styles and motifs she borrows from other Cytus II characters. After all, she’s the core of the cyTus network and linked to each character.

Vanessa and the characters unite through music to compose what is the series’ legendary finale. And you, while unravelling the game’s mystery, have a front row seat.
