The Xliff Tool for Xcode (Xliff Tool) is a translation tool specifically designed for developers. It supports editing files in both .xliff and .xcloc formats.

**Leveraging AI for Accurate Translations**
The Xliff Tool utilizes artificial intelligence for translations, offering users a choice between Apple’s built-in Machine Learning (ML) translation, local Large Language Model (LLM) translation, or online LLM translation. Additionally, the latest version of Xliff Tool can check the syntax of the text and provide suggestions for modification.

**Enhanced Translation Accuracy**
Notably, Xliff Tool can improve translation accuracy through cross-checking, even if you have no knowledge of the target language.

**Three Translation Modes**
Xliff Tool offers three translation modes:

• **Local Machine Translation Mode**: Provides the strongest privacy protection, as the translation is completely local and does not require any online connectivity. This mode uses the built-in machine language translation system, supporting mutual translation in 20 languages, including Arabic, Polish, German, Russian, French, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Spanish (Spain), Italian, Indonesian, English (United States), English (UK), Vietnamese, Chinese (Taiwan), and Chinese (Mainland China).
• **Local LLM Translation Mode**: Offers an extremely private, locally-run large language model, allowing users to choose the most suitable model for their target language.
• **Online LLM Translation Mode**: Requires sending text to an online server for translation. This mode can run larger models with better accuracy, currently supporting models from kimi (Dark Side of the Moon) and OpenAI (GPT3.5).
