Tesla, Volkswagen, Audi, and many more) To save money during off-peak hours, you need a dynamic time-of-use tariff, like the aWATTar HOURLY tariff (available in Germany and Austria - find more information under www.awattar.com) With tado° Smart Charging, you can specify your charging preferences, such as the time by which you want your electric car to be fully charged. The charging process is then automatically scheduled to maximize the amount of renewable energy used and minimize the cost of charging, all while ensuring your vehicle is ready to go when you need it! Now you can start saving on your energy bill while balancing the grid and charging with more sustainable energy! * Electric vehicles from following brands can be connected directly: Audi, Cupra, Hyundai, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen. First off: I've been using this app when it first came out. Then I didn't use it for a while because my energy provider had its own app. Switched energy providers and thought I'd go back to the tado smart charging app. Spent half an hour trying to get it to connect. For the life of me I can't get it to connect. Deleted the app, reinstalled, etc etc. Error messages are completely useless ("Something went wrong" but no details WHAT or even an error code). Try again and it complains "The car is already connected to another account ". Again useless: please tell me WHICH account. Let's visit the Help Center. That links to a web page about tado X. Great. OK, let's see if I can contact customer support by clicking Ask a question. That opens the mail app with a blank mail and no To address...Pity, as 2 years ago this app showed promise. However, by the looks of it functionality has not improved, but since I cannot even connect my (supported and previously working) car, it's completely useless anyway.

Double rate does not support higher offpeak rate

Greenchoice (NL) among many other suppliers now has a higher off-peak rate and a lower peak rate (!). The app does not support filling out rate details like that (getting a validation error), as it expects the offpeak hours to be lower.
