Code Master 4 worked with an SQLite platform, whereas Code Master 5 is working with real, physical documents in the device's documents folder. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and I'm dedicating these next couple of days / weeks to finding a fix. Dear fellow programmers, I realize that the app isn't everything that you've hoped. I've gone through your feedback and taken down every single request for features and/or improvements. I have decided to dedicate my all of my times to Code Master 5 and it's polished release. I am taking as much time as I possibly can out of university life to develop a professional, yet simplistic, on-the-go programming solution. I am looking into things such as dedicated syntax highlighting for individual languages, as well as live syncing with Dropbox, Google Drive, FTP, etc. You must also understand that the app is made 100% free to the public so there is no income being generated out of it. In a nutshell, this means that the current budget for Code Master comes out of my own pocket. When it comes to purchasing professional libraries that allow for effecient syncing between these libraries, as well as 3rd party cloud services, all cost money to purchase and license. So, as for now at least, I have to build these features from the ground up with my current knowledge of programming. Saying that, do not doubt my ability to program. I'm pretty good if I can find some time to actually dedicate towards this project. Future updates are right around the corner. Again, I am dedicating all of my free time to this project of mine. Good day coders, I would just like to start off by letting you guys know that there are some major features in the works, some that will benefit the user greatly. The Code Master suite is going through a major redesign, along with a complete rewrite using Apple’s newly released Swift programming language. I understand that the engine is a bit old and I would just like to thank each and every one of you for putting up with it. Firstly, Code Master is going to be redeveloped as the major product in mind. Meaning that the app itself will no longer be thought of as the ‘lite’ version of Code Master Pro, but instead, an entire packaged suite. We’ve seen a major rise in downloads over the past few months and we’d like to give the users a reason to stay. We’ve already started implementing this state of mind with the iCloud integration, however, it will take full effect as Code Master 4 is released. As for Code Master Pro, there will of course be benefits to upgrading as the software will take more of an in-depth focus on each individual programming language, as well as more frequent improvements. However, we believe you guys will be well off with the original, free version. The time frame in which the Code Master suite will be complete is still unknown.
