Brightspace Pulse gives learners and their authorized parents and guardians a convenient way to follow coursework, deadlines, progress, and important updates.
Learners can:
- Access their course content
- View important dates and deadlines across their courses
- Manage upcoming and overdue coursework
- Receive notifications for Announcements, Grades, Quizzes, Assignments, Activity Feed posts, and more
- Access supported course content offline, including video and audio
- Participate in Activity Feed discussions
- Open Brightspace in a browser to complete additional activities
Parents and guardians can:
- View upcoming and overdue work, grades, shared Portfolio items, and classroom updates
- Receive notifications about quizzes and assignments with upcoming due dates
- Follow multiple learners from one account, when supported by their school or organization
Features vary by role and by your institution or organization’s Brightspace configuration. An account provided by your school, district, or organization is required. Parent and guardian access must be enabled by the learner’s school or organization.

Het is best overzichtelijk en goed te volgen, maar kennisbites openen om te doen op mijn telefoon kan niet. Dan krijg ik een melding, ‘fout bij het downloaden …’ dat zou het doen van kennisbites onderweg bel makkelijker maken.
2 main issues

I have two main issues I deal with forcefully as this is the only app to use for Brightspace: 1. It does not show any link in a text. So, for example, if you click through a course and pick a lecture, in which the teacher added links in under the lecture “button”,. These links can only be seen through desktop. And *if* I somehow found one, but it’s on the bottom of a text. It does not allow me me scroll down to the link. Just to the text above. 2. the last couple of weeks I have been getting ‘problem’ pop-ups and the pictures are not loading. The only things I can see now are the main buttons and the course names. No material or anything. This is a big issue. Hopefully, it can be fixed soon! The desktop version is good. I personally think the priority should now be for the app to work(together)!Update the iPad app also fully stopped working! It has been a while too… why does it seem like nobody is picking this up?

The “back to pulse” button after signing in to brightspace just refreshes the page. It’s impossible to proceed with the sign in process
