Population Growth rate issues

It’s a great game—I’ve been playing it for a long time and the scenarios are fun—but the only issue is the population growth rate. Specifically, on the map, some random provinces show 100% growth when it should really be 20–40% at most. Furthermore, places like India and Bangladesh have extremely high growth rates, allowing them to mobilize far more troops. Basically, population growth and total population size matter much more in this game than developing the economy or boosting growth rates; it ends up being absurd that Bangladesh is stronger than Romania, Poland, Ukraine, and other European or Asian nations purely because of its population growth rate. Plus, you constantly have to go into the game and manually adjust the growth rates in the map editor.
