A great sequel to a great game.

I have to admit; it took me a long, long..LONG time to get used to this game. At first it just felt like a cash grab so I put it aside for a couple of years. Reason for this was it did things so different and I just hated seeing that I suppose. Recently I have picked it up again to “give it another shot, maybe I judged too soon.” (I did play for inly five minutes after all.) Boy do I regret not picking it up sooner. After a lot of consideration, I came to realize everything that I thought was gone is actually still in the game, but as stated before, done differently. This helped me appreciate the game much more again. An example is how in the first game you boost on a vine to go to the treetops, now it’s done via a cannon. The game also looks much prettier. While I definitely enjoy the physics and spritework of the first game a bit more (after all, in the first game you actually are shown to get buried under bananas..love to see that back here too honestly), you can’t deny that all locations have much more detail and personality in them now.I could go on and on for hours but definitely give this game a try if you loved the first, and don’t be like me and judge far too early. You’ll definitely regret missing out.
