Premium Arcticans Aurora Forecast is the Swiss Army Knife for the modern Northern Lights hunter. Your best Aurora Alert and Aurora Forecast buddy when hunting the Aurora Borealis. Use this app as your personal Northern Lights guide. Our mission is that you will learn from our app and will grow as a real aurora borealis hunter. Not only tourists or photographers but also local people, and guides should work with this app. If you are out searching for an app that will just ping you when there is visible Northern Lights this app will also be the best. We don't just use the solar wind data chance and give it to you, we developed our own algorithm in the field and tested it for over a year. We can conclude that our aurora forecast app gives the best user interface and our aurora alerts are on point so you are on time when you need to go outside. Next to this we keep developing our app since we are in the field the whole aurora hunting season. So we can learn and improve our app. - Select your own location (no GPS needed) - See the visible aurora chance on your chosen location - Solar wind data from the past 6 hours for precise aurora forecasting - Current solar wind data - Solar disk data for long term forecasts - Magnetometers - Webcams - Push notifications for Aurora Alerts - Many more This all combined with the visualized solar wind parameters will maximize your chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis.

Best app full stop

This app is lovely, you have (almost) everything you need. The only thing I’d love is for the widget to be customisable at what value it tells you it’s good enough to go outside. Where I am it’s sadly not feasible to go outside unless it’s -20. Push alerts would also be lovely. Neither changes my opinion about the app tho
