First of all I’m terribly fond of your newspaper & spent everyday reading it! The lengthy in depth analysis gives the reader a thorough insight in the subject of the articles. But (in my view): the often lengthy and very detailed articles forces the reader to read it all in order to get a complete picture. This is very time consuming and therefore a disadvantage. I would very much like an article to get preseded by a kind of ‘management’- summary wherin all important aspects of the articles are mentioned whereby the reader can discriminate if he is interested in all underlying details.

I appreciate the scale and scope of your reporting, the background stories and your willingness to stay the course with honesty and clarity. In a world of increasingly chaotic events it must be difficult but thank you.

Good articles but design could improve. What they definitely need to work on is the search function. This basically doesn’t allow you to find anything. For instance, I want to open an article I am reading in the app instead of the iPhone browser, but it is impossible to find in the app. Even when copy pasting the article title 1-1 you can’t find it, neither through a few words or searching the author. Quite (very) frustrating.

I am a Dutch woman of 66 and I live in The Netherlands. I am very worried about what is happening in the US. Since Bezos took over The Post I am often shocked how subjective the articles and the editorials are. That is not how it should be. Please give solid information on which we can build our opinion. I advise you to keep reading Petri, who is, unfortunately, no longer working for your paper. That is your loss. She grasps what is going on as no other. Tell Bezos to grow a spine. And to take a good look to where the world is going.
