Estimate an ingredient when a kitchen scale is not at hand. Bilancia calculates the inner volume of a regularly shaped container and applies its average density to provide an approximate quantity in grams or milliliters.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose sugar, flour, liquid, or enter a custom density.
2. Select a cylindrical, square, or rectangular container.
3. Match the outer width directly on the iPhone screen, or enter the dimensions manually.
4. Mark the fill level.
5. Read the estimated amount and its uncertainty range.
MADE FOR EVERYDAY COOKING
• Guided, easy-to-follow measurement flow
• On-screen and manual dimension entry
• Wall and bottom thickness adjustment
• Personal screen calibration using a standard bank card
• Custom ingredient densities
• Grams-to-ounces converter
• Shareable results
• Dark Mode, Dynamic Type, and VoiceOver support
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Bilancia works entirely offline. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or data collection. Your personal screen calibration stays on your device.
IMPORTANT
Bilancia does not weigh objects and does not turn the iPhone into a physical scale. Every result is an empirical approximation based on container geometry and average density. Verify important quantities with a real kitchen scale, especially for recipes that require precision.

Bilancia 3.4 is ready for the new iPhone models and iOS 27.
• Screen profiles for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, based on Apple’s specifications: on-screen measurements are accurate on these models from the first use
• Updated for iOS 27
The result remains an empirical estimate and does not replace a kitchen scale.
