PeakScope is a focused live spectrum analyzer built for finding what happens in the moment. Use it to monitor audio input, inspect frequency peaks, catch short events, and compare live spectrum movement against held peak data. It is designed to be technical without getting in your way: clear meters, fast FFT controls, trigger capture, peak hold, markers, and input selection in one compact workflow. Whether you are checking a microphone, testing audio gear, chasing noise, finding resonances, or watching transient peaks, PeakScope gives you a clean view of what is happening across the spectrum. Key features: • Live spectrum analyzer Monitor frequency content from the built-in mic or connected audio input. • FFT resolution control Choose the resolution that fits the job, from quick response to finer detail. • Peak hold modes Use Hold Max to retain the loudest value per frequency bin, or Hold with manual freeze when you want to stop and inspect a moment. • Trigger capture Set a threshold and frequency span so PeakScope can react to the signal range you care about. • Input level preview See the incoming level before activating capture so threshold setup is faster and less guesswork. • Frequency span targeting Limit trigger behavior to a low/high frequency range. • Hold timing Control how long a signal must stay present before capture reacts. • Movable spectrum markers Place independent markers on live and held traces to read frequency and loudness. Markers can snap to peaks and dips, and can be locked when you want them to stay put. • Input selection Select available audio inputs and see common input types supported by iOS audio routing. • Clean technical interface Dark, compact, and built for repeated use without unnecessary visual clutter.
