The easiest way to track and automatically calculate your Wendler 5/3/1 powerlifting routine.

Please note this app is not connected to Wendler himself, the creator of of the Wendler 5/3/1 program. This app may deviate from the program. Please purchase Wendler's books to support his work.

Simply input your one rep maxes once! Based off your one rep maxes your entire Wendler routine will be calculated. You will not have to look at another percentage or weight chart again! Lose the spreadsheets! Your weights will automatically increase with each new cycle as little or much as you setup. This takes the math out of your training so you can focus on lifting!

The Wendler 5/3/1 mesocycles and lifts are automatically calculated based on how you lift and your body's own unique fitness level. Customize the program as little or a much as you want. Stick with the four main lifts: Military Press, Bench Press, Back Squat and Deadlift - or create your own unique lifts!

Erg goed, maar kan beter

After testing a couple of apps for multiple 5/3/1 cycles I can say that this is the best 5/3/1 app in the app store. The plate calculator is awesome, I love te fact that it calculates how many reps you have to do for a 1RM record, and assistance workouts are easy to add when you finish your main lift.

Even though I love it there is room for improvement.
(1) The weight added after a cycle can be modified, but could be more user friendly. After the start of a new cycle the app could ask (in a popup) how much weight the user wants to add.
(2) The app doesn't make it easy to do 2 cycles before a deload. (like Wendler recommends nowadays) It is possible but you have to manually enter the fact that you want a deload and the corresponding percentages and reps BEFORE you start a new cycle. Not user friendly.
(3) When creating a new cycle, I would like to pick an assistance program for that cycle (say BBB) and not have to manually add it after each workout. (while keeping the option to add them manually also)
(4) The app is great as a guide for the workouts, but not so good as a workout logbook.
(4a) I miss a workout timer (so that I can log how long I worked out)
(4b) I would prefer to see the exercices in chronological order, and the sets, reps and weight for them beneath one another.

Rare gewichten

Heb ingevuld dat mijn barbell 20 kilo weegt, maar er werd aangegeven dat ik de ohp warming up met 16.9 kilo moet doen. Kan dit nergens veranderen

Hele fijne app!

Super fijne app om zo kracht op te bouwen. Zeker de plate calculator is voor mij zeker een must.
