Room for improvement

Been using this app for a while now during conventions so that my stock keeps updated. Works fast and easy to understand.

However we do come across some minor irritations:

1. Please give us the opportunity for the hardware to change the language according to region. (For me that would be Dutch) so that we can change the text it displays: try another card …for us it should be insert card.

2. Sometimes there is a delay in updating stock between the POS app and the “normal” app. A lot of times I’ve had it happen I was completely sold out but the normal app still displayed the item in stock as 1. Or the other way around when the normal app says I have 2 in stock but the POS still thinks it’s 7. So something is not right.

Hi Jolanda, thank you for sharing your experience. I am happy to pass on your feedback to our developers for the hardware/card readers to allow language changes. And to verify, the POS app itself has the ability to change languages by going to the iPad Settings > General > Language & Region. If you notice the POS app is not syncing correctly with your Shopify account, please go to the Shopify POS app, open the task manager and send the app to run in the background. In your device's homescreen, tap on the Shopify POS app and then check to see that your new changes have taken effect in the Shopify POS app. If you continue to have any further issues, please reach out to our Support team who will be happy to help.

Exchanges en returns

Without a receipt or the client telling you when they bought something we are not able to refund or exchange! This feature has been asked for since years on the shopify forums and Shopify REFUSES to take action! This is REALLLY needed!

Hi Dresses Boutique, we really appreciate your feedback! We understand that this is a pain point for some merchants, and will be sure to pass this on to our developers. A workaround would be to issue a gift card for the value of the product returned. You can do this in the POS by adding a gift card to the cart and applying a 100% discount.
