► How It Works
Traffic Sign Camera watches the road ahead with your iPhone camera, finds possible speed-limit signs with on-device machine learning, and reads the sign value with Vision text recognition. At the same time, it can use your current location and course to request map-based speed-limit data. The app combines both sources so you can keep your eyes on one simple limit display.
► Important Limitations
Traffic Sign Camera is a driver assistance tool, not a replacement for your attention or local traffic law.
• Optimized for European speed limit signs. US speed limits are not currently supported.
• Poor lighting, bad weather, dirty windows, unusual signs, or narrow curves can reduce camera recognition quality.
• The app does not currently detect every end-of-limit, town boundary, or special-case road rule.
• Map data depends on OpenStreetMap coverage and an internet connection.
• Missed or incorrect detections can occur. Always follow posted signs and local rules.
