The best way to ssh/mosh

I have switched to using an ipad instead of a regular laptop on the go because of Blink (and mosh+tmux) and Textastic+ShellFish. Blink is better than any mac terminal, and feel a lot more like a being on a linux computer. Colors, keys and everything works really good in all applications like emacs, vi, tmux and others when connecting to linux servers. Very highly reccomended!

I love this app!

This application is incredible. Use it to ssh into my raspberry pi, Mac (where I run code-server) and DO droplets. Works perfectly. The Visual Studio Code integration is super, and this app paired with Tailscale makes it possible to do all of my work on my iPad.

Anxolin ,

App is mostly, pity they have some big UX issues

I bought the app long ago, and they have a problem that for IOS, you can not read all the characters because the round corners of the screen are not visible. It would be as simple as allowing to add a margin, but it has been like that for years.

You cannot use it in landscape, which is sad for a terminal cause u need this extra space.

Additionally, they just focused in doing another version to try to charge you for a monthly fee. Pls fix the issues before trying to get more money

A bit disappointing

Developer Response ,

Hi Anxolin! We actually have had that feature for years, and Blink offers three modes for how you want to fit the screen in rounded corners. You can see them on Config > Appearance or by doing a three finger tap on the shell. The modes are: cover, fill and fit.

You can read more about it here: https://docs.blink.sh/basics/tips-and-tricks#blink-using-screen-corners Please contact us if you have issues setting them up.

Also, please note that as a previous user of the app you do not have to subscribe to the yearly version as everyone is grandfathered. We still appreciate those who value our work so far and decide to continue supporting us.

Thanks!
