Again, the start of the gardening season brings exciting new features to the smart system. The new smart sensor with its soil analysis and many extensions for the Alexa voice assistant can already be discovered. Into the app, we have also newly integrated some advanced settings for the robotic lawnmower.
Ratings and Reviews
A good app with a few shortcomings
A good app overall, however a few new additions would make it better:
- The possibility of controlling two smart hubs. We have mowers at two separate locations and have had to create two different gardena accounts to control them both.
- Entering the mower pin remotely via the app. When our vacation home mower gets stuck when we are not there, sometimes a friendly neighbor puts it back in the charging station. But it won’t start cause he doesn’t have the pin, and I can’t remotely start it. I guess I could just give him the pin but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a pin in the first place.
