It can effect negatively on a person’s selflove, it’s enough of that on social media already. It can actually cause mental health problems, because the person who uses it can go too far (as many probably does) and start to mislike her/his own natural look and get addicted to get the fake look. Not even talking about the price, how much money you make on that. Let the people be who they are, and accept themself for how they look.
We really appreciate you reaching out and giving us your perspective. That said, we see it differently. Facetune is not about having the perfect appearance, it's about putting yourself out there as you want to be seen. Users have complete control over how natural or creative they want to take their images and we don't judge users for how they want to use Facetune. Of course, we understand your feedback, and at the same time know that using Facetune is like putting on makeup in the morning or wearing a sparkly dress. It's not about changing who you are but putting forward how you want to be seen. Please check out our latest PSA video, giving users all kinds of tips on how to avoid overdoing their editing, by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqtxq4iVOds Everyone knows that everyone is editing their photos and Facetune allows everyday users as well as professional photographers to access high-caliber editing tools.
