From a summer thunderstorm building in the afternoon heat to an autumn gale sweeping across the UK, you see what is coming, where and when. Lightning tracker, rain radar and local forecast in one place: take the brolly, move the barbecue indoors or set off early.
THUNDERSTORM TRACKER AND LIGHTNING ALERTS
• Strikes appear on the map as they happen, each tagged with how many seconds or minutes ago it hit
• A "Lightning nearby" notification when a strike lands inside your alert radius
• Pick the radius yourself: close for fewer pings, far for an earlier heads-up
• Thunderstorm and hail warnings in the day's outlook, so a match or a hill walk never catches you out
RAIN RADAR AND RAIN ALERTS

- 48-hour chart: a data table under the chart. Tap "+ Data" to add feels-like, wind, gusts, humidity, pressure, UV and more.
- 14 days: switch between the list view and the new columns view.
- The iOS widget now updates itself about once an hour, so in the morning it shows the latest forecast.
