New: the Garmin watch. Install Hunta from the Connect IQ Store on your watch and connect it in Settings → Garmin. On a stalk you have your team, the map, the wind and the shooting light on your wrist, and your phone can stay in your pack. With a dog and an Alpha, the whole team sees your dogs on the map, with their runs and where they went on point.

New: LoRa radio. Pair your radio in Settings. On a team stalk you see each other on the map and can write in the team chat, even with no mobile signal. Each stalker needs their own radio.

Offline map Keeps the tiles you have already seen, so the map draws where there is no signal. Map Your track appears on the map and on the hunt card, with no-go zones drawn on the terrain. Profile Your own totals for the season, by species. Also: tappable hunt posts, longer battery on a live hunt, and smaller improvements throughout.

Notifications Hear about it when someone writes, or when a hunt starts — and see how many are waiting, right on the icon. Map Opens on you, and stays where you left it. Live hunt Longer battery life, and a compass. Also: hunt cards show where you were, a location-aware shooting-light estimate, unread counts that keep up with you, and smaller fixes throughout.

Share the hunt with your team A hunt can now be open to your hunting team. They see it at the top of their feed while it runs, and can join straight from the card. You choose when you start, and can flip it mid-hunt. Joining starts your own session, so your harvests, hours and distance stay yours. You see each other's markers on the map for as long as the hunt lasts. You can now invite people without leaving the live view. Finished hunts appear in the feed with where they were, when they started and how long they lasted. During a hunt the map shades everything outside your terrain, so the ground you may hunt is the ground that stays clear. Fixed: your live position kept being shared while you sat still — teammates used to lose sight of you within five minutes unless you were walking. The map now opens where your terrain and your logged sightings actually are, instead of somewhere between them, and a sighting is drawn with its own green pin. Also fixed: new hunting areas sometimes landed in the wrong team, or were refused outright. Setting a username did nothing, and a saved one never showed. Signing in could land you on the profile page instead of the feed. The team QR code was too dark to scan.

Permits and quotas Your team's felling permits and quotas now live in the app, under a new Permits tab. Everyone sees what's left; admins add permits, set quotas and share them out. A harvest logged on the team's ground counts against the quota automatically. Hunt without coverage Start a hunt, log a harvest and end it with no signal at all. Everything is kept on your phone and syncs by itself once you're back in range — in the right order, with each harvest still attached to the hunt it was shot on. An offline chip tells you why live data is paused. Nothing is lost any more A harvest the server refuses now stays on your phone with the reason shown, and can be corrected and re-sent. It used to be deleted. Start from where you stand "Start from location" now works out which of your hunting grounds you're standing on, and only asks when there's genuine doubt. Planned hunts Open a planned hunt to see the terrain, the meeting time and place, and who's coming. Being ticked for a hunt is an invitation you answer now, not an automatic signup. Purchased hunts A hunt you've booked appears in your feed with its status, and the harvest report is filed in the app. Also: terrain drawing no longer loses a selection to a stray tap, teams can be renamed and deleted, and the feed refreshes when you open the app.
