Studies is a flashcard app for the serious student. It's a tool to extend your knowledge, and it doesn't matter what you want to learn — a new language, medicine, law, history, driving, fine art, music — from simple day-to-day tidbits, to knowledge of life changing importance. Studies is an app to help you achieve your learning goals.
There are Studies apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac (separate purchase), and they sync up beautifully via iCloud. Start studying in class with Studies for Mac, continue on the bus ride home with Studies for iPhone, and finish off on the sofa with Studies for iPad.

One thing that bugs me is the fact that if you are in the process of creating a card/note, and then switch over to e.g. your browser, all progress will be lost if you return to the app after a while. Perhaps a stupid way of doing memory management? Shouldn't happen in 2017 nonetheless.And I'd wish they had better statistics to keep me motivated.In general though, it's a clean, powerful and efficient app.

Yes, better stats on iOS are on our list. (The Mac app already has a bit more.) In general, it should only lose the place where you were after quite a while in the background, but certainly agree it would be better to maintain that state regardless. Thanks for the feedback!
Image cutoff

Kind of pity that this app cuts off your images even when you put it within the image frame. Makes it very useless for studying and memorizing chess positions when the image loader cuts off a couple of rows of the chessboard
